Dawn E. Hartman, C.P.

Dawn Hartman is a Certified Paralegal specializing in conservatorships, probates, special needs trusts and Medi-Cal planning. She earned her Associate degrees in clinical laboratory science and paralegal studies and earned her Paralegal Certification from the National Association of Legal Assistants in 2014. Dawn has been with the firm since 2005.

Kathleen Stevanus

Kathleen Stevanus earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California Santa Barbara in June of 1988; she earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of West Los Angeles in June of 1992. She has worked as both an attorney and a paralegal since that time. As an attorney she worked to advocate for plaintiffs in personal injury and worker’s compensation matters, assisted consumers with resolving credit and consumer and tax debt or representing them in Bankruptcy proceedings. Most recently, Kathy has worked as a practicing paralegal for the last eight years in the field of Probate, Conservatorships and Trust Administration and has worked for the firm since 2023.

Joan Delong

Joan DeLong earned her bachelor’s degree from California State University, Dominguez Hills and her paralegal certificate from El Camino College. She specializes in conservatorships, probates and special needs trusts. She has been with the firm since 2008.

Lisa A. Sullivan

Lisa Sullivan earned her associate degree in paralegal studies from El Camino College. She has expertise in estate planning and trust administration. Lisa has worked with the firm since 2005.

Leslie Saldana

Leslie Saldana is a paralegal with a background in psychology, holding a bachelor’s degree from California State University, Long Beach. She gained her paralegal qualifications through hands-on legal experience under the supervision of a licensed California attorney, in accordance with state requirements. Leslie is known for her attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and commitment to providing reliable legal support across a range of matters. Leslie has been with the firm since 2023.

Emily Chavez

Emily Chavez is our senior administrator managing workflow for our attorneys, paralegals and clients. She has grown in her position at the firm through learning new skills and gaining invaluable knowledge of the legal process. Emily is also a Notary Public and works with clients notarizing documents, recording deeds and providing general administrative support to staff. Emily has been with the firm since 2014.
