James Berkedal, Esq. heads up the Trust Administration Department at the Cox Law Group, Inc. James has seen the trusts and estates field from multiple angles. He began with drafting wills and trusts. Soon, he moved on to trust administration with a corporate trustee in estate settlement, then to administering trusts.

James understands the perspective of acting as a trustee from his years as an agent for the corporate trustee. He is passionate about trust and estates because it is an avenue for a client to ensure their family is looked after for generations beyond their passing.

James earned his Juris Doctor degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law. He did his undergraduate work at Chapman University. James was born and raised in Southern California. In his personal time, he enjoys swimming, gardening, photography, and listening to live music.

James has been licensed to practice law since 2017.
